Financial Support
Since 2022, we have provided material assistance to more than 1,400 persons with disabilities from the Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
Financial assistance has enabled people to repair homes damaged by shelling, purchase fuel for the winter, buy warm clothing and essential health-monitoring devices, and cover rent and utility costs.
Material assistance is critical during wartime because expenses rise sharply in crisis conditions, particularly the cost of essential medications, hygiene products, and services. Fight For Right’s support also has an important psychological impact by strengthening people’s sense of stability and security.

Liudmyla’s Story of Support
Liudmyla is 67 years old. Her home was partially destroyed, forcing her to relocate to Pisochyn, near Kharkiv.
At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Liudmyla was living in Kharkiv. The daily shelling continued without pause, and the situation was extremely difficult. As the city remained under constant Russian attack, she was forced to shelter in a bomb shelter. The conditions were unsuitable for prolonged stays, and after living there for two months, Liudmyla became ill. She and her son then decided to leave the city.
They settled in a private home belonging to acquaintances in Pisochyn. Frequent power outages, cold temperatures, and limited resources are now part of the reality in which they must struggle every day to maintain basic safety.
Before the full-scale invasion, Liudmyla had been diagnosed with cancer. Following major surgery, she acquired a disability. Later, the strain and trauma of the war further affected her health when she suffered a stroke.
Despite these challenges, Liudmyla continues to recover, manage her daily life, and preserve her inner strength. This is not a story about “vulnerability.” It is a story of resilience and the determination to remain autonomous.
